Montigo Inn felt very fresh and clean. The check-in process went smoothly. I appreciated the modern amenities like a fridge and microwave in my room. The bedding was comfortable and made for a good night's sleep. The hotel had a definite "Pride in Ownership" vibe, especially since it was spotless everywhere. However, I did encounter a couple of issues. The sink in my room had a noticeable crack, and the faucet could use an upgrade. These minor maintenance issues were evident, yet everything else in the room functioned well. I also noticed some areas that seemed outdated, like the flooring and carpets. It’s clear the new ownership is trying, but there’s still a need for some renovation to modernize the space.

I stayed here while visiting the Museum of the New Llano Colony. The place had a nice smell as I entered my room, and I was happy with the comfy bed and amenities like the fridge and microwave. However, I did find some damp towels and an unclean towel in the microwave, which was a bit disappointing. Also, I wanted to grab some breakfast before heading out, but I couldn't get anyone to assist me early in the morning, which was inconvenient.

Renovations left many areas outdated!!! A broken sink and aging faucet detract from the overall experience!!! Time for a serious investment in updating fixtures and flooring for a more modern feel!!!

I enjoyed some kind interactions with the front desk, particularly Jamie. She was always helpful and made the check-in process smooth, providing a feeling of assurance in a somewhat unsettling environment.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, especially with the expectation of clean accommodations.
